BORDEAUX

BORDEAUX is internationally famous for its celebrated wines and fine food. Being at a geographical crossroads (both on the land and on the river), Bordeaux’s unrivaled architectural heritage is made of royal palaces, rich abbeys and a cathedral. For almost a millennium now, Bordeaux has been one of the first European centers for teaching and international trade.

Of course, we will honor the BORDEAUX VINEYARDS during a tour and wine tasting at the Château Fourcas Hosten (Listrac-Médoc) property, specifically chosen for its excellent reputation.

DUNE DU PILAT

Within less than one hour's drive from Bordeaux, the DUNE DU PILAT stands between the Landes forest and the Bay of Biscay shore. It is the highest sand dune of Europe, like a tip of the desert ending in the ocean. A magical place far away from the world, often used by the cinema industry.

SAINT-EMILION

SAINT-EMILION, picturesque medieval city on the edge of the Périgord region, is a major attraction for tourists who are charmed by its churches, alleys, and small squares made of old stones. The village is internationally known for its wines and fine food. Saint-Emilion is inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List as a “remarkable example of a historical vineyard landscape which remained intact” and which “greatly illustrates intensive vine cultivation in a precisely defined area”.
